Having used a bunch of recipe plugins over the 10 years I’ve run my food blog, I can say without hesitation that this is the best plugin, and it boils down to 1 simple reason: support. I went through a couple plugins early on that eventually folded, and I found myself having to migrate my data to a new plugin each time. The last plugin I was using was not a very popular one so no one had an automated solution for migrating my data. I was faced with manually transcribing hundreds of recipes when I emailed Brecht, the creator of WPRM and asked for his help. He ended up adding support to automatically migrate the data from the plugin I was using just for me. Since then there have been a few times when I’ve needed a feature or help getting something to work. He’s been there for me every time and gone above and beyond his duty as a plugin author. I can’t imagine any feature on another plugin that could possibly lure me away from WPRM (and even if there were, I’d bet Brecht could build it into WPRM eventually).
