    I see that now there are two similar events for every ecommerce action, for example, add_to_cart and gtm4wp.addProductToCartEEC. What is the best practice for using them? Should I use add_to_cart for GA4 and gtm4wp.addProductToCartEEC for UA tag or should I always use new events add_to_cart, purchase, etc? Also is there any difference in which event I choose to use for Google Ads conversion tracking?

    Hi.

    Events with the gtm4wp prefix include data to be used with Universal Analytics/GA3, other ecommerce events (like add_to_cart or purhcase) are there to be used with GA4 and the updated Google Ads remarketing/conversion tag.
