Best plugin for mass redirect of many posts?

  • Hi folks,

    Just as the Topic title suggests, I’m looking for a plugin that will allow me to designate that all my posts (even if there are a lot of them) will redirect to an external URL. It would be ideal if I could do a one-click selection of all the posts in any category and have them redirect to an external URL of my choosing.

    I know there are a number of redirect plugins – I’m just not sure which one/if any do this. Recommendations?

  • I would take a look at Redirection, it may be what you’re looking for.

    Hello Jonathan,

    Thanks for the suggestion; that may be one I hadn’t looked at. Though, glancing at the screenshot on the Plugin’s page, I see an ordinary Source URL and Target URL field to be filled in; but at a glance, that appears to handle only one redirect at a time.

    Do you by chance know (before I go and try it) if it’ll let me enter a lot of source URLS? And I’m talking a LOT, like thousands of them – probably broken down into several categories.
