Hey mikejisrael! Rob from Modern Tribe here — though it’s been a few days since you posted this review, I wanted to thank you on behalf of the whole team for taking the time to write it. 5 star reviews always make us proud. It’s this type of feedback that both keep up our excitement at the work we’re doing from week to week, and gives us a good opportunity to improve in ways that better serve our users.

We’re trying to gather feedback from our users as we work towards our next big release, and was wondering if you might be willing to elaborate a bit on the points you made here: when it comes to clearing all events, is your goal to simply delete them? Or do you want frontend users to be able to filter all events? I’d be interested in hearing your end goal here to see if it’s possible already. When you mention “re-uploading”, what do you mean exactly?

Totally understandable if you’re uninterested in providing that level of feedback or don’t have time. But if you’ve got a second we’d appreciate it and would take it into account as we work to improve the plugin. Our goal is to make the plugin more useful to everybody.

Either way: thanks a ton for the great review and feedback so far!

    Hi Rob
    Thanks for reaching out.
Yes deleting all events and re-uploading is what I am talking about. I want to maintain our cycling events calendar and this changes regularly. Rather than editing individual events, it would be quicker just to clear the calendar and upload the up to date version of future events. We have no need to keep a history of past events in the calendar so losing that data is not important. Make sense?
    Cheers
    Mike

Mike: this is fantastic feedback — thank you so much for elaborating on it. I can definitely see the value there; not sure what it would take to implement, but it does seem like something that users who aren’t aiming to keep a record of past events would find to be a real time-saver.
