Best of its kind

This plugin is the best of its kind. If you don’t want all the complexity around membership plugins and you just want to control access to content based on roles then this is the most complete plugin.
It does have some short comings though. It does not handle the use-case if a user has multiple roles assigned. In other words, you have two roles and when a user has both of them they should have access to content for both roles. And when they only have one role they should have access to only the content for that role.
It also doesn’t list anywhere where all the customized settings are. You have to drill down into each individual post & term to determine which ones have customized settings. It would be nice if it had a page that just listed all the customized settings for the entire role.
Also the documentation on the site is not complete, but I’m sure they will fill it out some time.
Anyways, AAM allowed me to remove the funky document access control that my theme came pre-packaged with and use a more professional solution not tied to the theme.
