• I’d like to have some suggestions for an easy-to-use and flexible menu plugin. I’m not very technically savvy, so simple is best.

    Thank you,
    Stuart

  • Hi Stuart,

There’s actually no need to use a plugin for creating menus on christianityapplied.org. There should be an option to create and/or manage the existing menus from Appearance > Menus.

There is some information about the process here if you are interested:

    I hope this helps!

    Thank you, Gemma.

I know I can create menus but they are very basic, as you can see in the right sidebar on my page. They are nothing like the menus on your blog page.

    Hi @sdinenno,

Would you be able to send a link to the blog page you are referring to so I can take a look?

I was referring to the menu shown horizontally along the top of the page here with the two drop down sub-menus under Blog and Travel. I can’t do anything like that with my theme.

My site has a menu in the sidebar but I believe I can’t create a menu anything like what is on your page, Genna.

    Hi @sdinenno,

    I understand now, thanks.

I can’t do anything like that with my theme.

Libre supports sub pages but not in the format you would like to use. I don’t have a specific plugin recommendation but I’m using a “hamburger menu” and there are number of plugins available for creating this style:

The Responsive Menu plugin seems to have lots of customisation options built in:

I hope that gives you a starting point.

I tried the Responsive Menu plugin. It works but I will have to upgrade to the paid version or try another plugin to get the menu along the top of the page.

    Thanks,
    Stuart

It’s great to hear that one worked. You might need to try a few before finding one that offers everything you are looking for. Best of luck though ??
