Best media organizer ever

I’ve used Real Media Library for years now, and it truly fills a huge need in the WordPress functionality, as this is the only real way to organize my photos and site graphics in a way so I can find them again. It’s huge force is that it even supports symbolic links so images doesn’t have to be stored in multiple folders if they fit more than one category. I have many images in a general or main folder and then I have several folders representing my sub-categories where the symbolic links are stored. It makes no difference to WordPress if I choose from the original folder or the symbolic link. The inserted image remains the same. This also makes it easy to update your library if you want a new version of an image.
The library supports keywords and multiple easy seach facilities.
It is wonderful to have a library that supports both subfolders, grouping folders and that also supports almost any format image or video you throw at it.
The real beauty of it all is that it integrates seamlessly in the existing media storage in WordPress and converts it to an organized hierarchical structure of folders for your media files. You don’t get a new or “extra” media menu in your WordPress admin menu, but simply use the exisiting media storage that after installation has the many extra features of Real Media Library.
This is the most useful add-on for the WordPress back end. I have no idea what I would do without Real Media Library to organize my several thousand media files in my database.
