Best image dimensions

  • Hi,

    This might be a silly question but I really can’t find any information about it online.

    How to determine what image dimensions to use?

    I currently use the guessing and testing method to find the appropriate image dimensions for different website places but it’s really inefficient. I feel like there is some kind of formula to calculate the best dimensions using the Inspect tool. Is there?

  • I think you should have one image with various dimensions so that you can use it within the website with appropriate dimensions wherever necessary. I don’t know whether there is a formula to calculate the best dimensions or not.
