Best hook for performing an add meta to customer based on coupon used in order

I have been looking through the woocommerce developer functions/hooks index and am confused which hook or action would be best for applying meta to the customer on purchase, based on if a coupon is used.

Secondly, it would be appreciated if someone out there knew the best way to grab the purchasing user’s meta on the purchase.

Somewhat new to php, but I have been able to correctly grab a coupon id after an order is placed using order id. Hopefully it shouldn’t be far off, thank you ahead of time for the help!
