Best FTP Client

  • presently i am using WS_FTP but am looking at either FireFTP or FileZilla ..which is better? Or is there a new kid on the block?

  • I used cute for a while, but changed to Smart FTP as it is legit and the free version seems good enough for my uses.

    I’ve hammered the programme and had it open with several windows and used all the common features which work well.

    There is a free version and one you pay for. Not sure what the paid one does, but with so many free and open source ftp agents, I’d never buy one and would sooner donate a couple of pennies to open source, if the programme was putting bread on the table as it were.
