[Painter theme] best free theme on www.remarpro.com, but…

  • i love this theme, the customizable header and the ability to change colors is what every theme needs, but i have one issue with it. whenever i add a post, there is a clutter underneath the post. all i want it to say is published by author and the date, yet on every post it says the author, date, category and tags. too much junk for me, especially if you have short posts its quite a distraction. help please?

    I can upload the header image that I want, but it doesn’t show up. =\
    However, if I make any text changes, those show up.

    stallefish – love this theme due to the ease of customising the colours BUT the posts on category pages are show in full.

    I have read this is bad for SEO as it will show duplicate content to the search engines – do I need to use a plug-in for this to show just exerpts?

    Does anyone know how to change the background image to a color?
    I don’t see it in the style.css. Do they live somewhere else ie: not within the theme?

    i’m using it for a work thing and its real good except can someone tell me:

    1. if its possible to have the description of the category displayed as text in the side bar?

    2 any way to get connect the categories to pages so that posts of 1 category to page A and posts of another go to page B?
