best e-commerce plug in for Suffusion

  • Hi,
    I am very much a novice at wordpress but am wanting to add a simple shop facility to my website with shopping cart accepting paypal.
    I am using the Suffusion theme and wondered if anyone could recommened the best e-commerce plugin to use with this theme.
    I tried WP e-commerce and all my pages and blog jammed up where only the static home page was accessible.
    Anyone with suggestions would be very much appreciated.

  • Have you tried TCP (“TheCartPress”)? I haven’t tried it with Suffusion, and TCP isn’t 100% ready yet (my own opinion only of course), but it may be a start.

    There are so many plugins out there its hard to know where to start.

    I really liked the look of WP ecommerce as it had everything I wanted and video tutorials for me to follow. I notice that some users are having problems with TCP but I am guessing there wont be a perfect solution. I’ll give it a go.

    I love Suffusion and just imported 2,000 products into WP e-Commerce but have one issue that I cannot find any help on:

    On https://bigcatrescue.org/products-page/ it lists the categories. So far, so good, but when you click on any category it goes to the right page in the browser bar, but the headline becomes one of the products (randomly, it seems) which is confusing and ugly to the visitor.

    If I click Edit page when clicking the headline it takes me to that product’s page and not the category page to fix the headline.

    I really want to use Suffusion and WP e-Commerce. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

    what other plugin are you using ?
