Benny?

  • Really? You want me to update because you use the name “Benny Goodman”? Even tho’ I know the name, but geez. Why not “Muddy Waters”?? Well, yeah… “Muddy” could be a misnomer, hm? And jazz ain’t blues, right?

    I tend to despise folks (read: companies) who use ‘words’ for their newest outpouring of yadda. I would sure as heck hate to put www.remarpro.com in that category. Being that the DOT ORG has attracted me for years, outside of that DOT COM biz.

    My current feeling is that the two are one and the same. I am not a programmer. I could not figure out an A+ from a ZPL. I just wan to be able to post my so-called blog on the Internet.

    Hey. I am here solely because I could NOT post a comment towards the newest incarnation of WP on their webpage (so-called “benny”). Yeah, I updated. Not because I like Benny Goodman (who I do NOT, let alone the jazz form). But because I have been told by some folk that updates are REQUIRED.

    I am now rethinking that way with Firefox. Will WP make me go the same way?? Don’t answer that. Please. Time will tell.

    I’m sorry you’re having a hard time of it. Have you tried posting a support topic using this link?

    The scourge of any opensource platform like WordPress is that vulnerabilities are sometimes discovered and keeping your software up to date is an easy way to alleviate that. The majority of users actually do not have a problem but frankly nothing is perfect and some users do run into issues.

    If you are having problems then please consider posting a support request. At a minimum give this a read.

    It is a little lengthy (it tries to catch all cases) but depending on what your problem is that may help you sort it out.
