Themes can cause such issues as well. When you deactivated all plugins, did you also switch to Twenty Twenty-one theme? If not, try it. If you still have trouble, while in the no plugins and default theme state, does the site health page report any issues?

I deinstalled all plugins and tried the Twenty-Twenty-One theme but there was no improvement. The health report stages problems with the plugin-updates. It is still not possible to publish articles, in the preview you can see the mistake 404.

Open your browser’s network developer tool, then try to update a post. There would normally be 3 requests logged. The first entry should be a POST request to the REST API, by post ID, status 200. Next another POST request to post.php, status 302. The 302 redirect is for the third request that GETs (reloads) the edit screen. Any departure from this could be a clue to the problem.

After you’ve tried to publish, also check you browser’s console for any error messages that might be an additional clue. Also check the server’s error log for any notices or warnings related to the edit screen.

I can see no clue and solution and also the status 302 is not visible. It is beginning wirh 304. And I want just to let you know, that I am not expierenced in programming.

304 status for a POST request? That status is for “Not modified”. Did you make some minor change to the post before attempting to update? If you changed nothing, we might expect that status. If you did make a change then the status is illogical and indicates a server configuration issue.

At the moment I changed nothing. And how can you fix a server configuration issue?

Server issues probably require assistance from your host. 304 not modified response for an update POST request is illogical and inappropriate.
