Behavior: ‘Trigger once per session’ and other similar options are not working

    Hi,
    Since one of the recent updates (maybe like a month ago), there are some options in the section ‘Behavior’ that don’t seem to be working.

    I have a pop-up that is shown when the user tries to leave the page (Exit intent), and it is configured that it happens once per session:
    > ‘Trigger once per session’

    Also, it is configured that:
    ‘Do not show this message across the site’ in 21 days after it is closed

    All that used to work in the past, but now it is showing the pop-up every time I reload the page.

    There are not any javascript errors in my page, so nothing seems to be affecting the logic of this plugin. Therefore, I believe this is a bug.

  • Hi Esteban,

    Trigger once per session will reset after the refresh and to keep it hidden you need to use “Do not show this message across the site” option.
    You do have shown this selected in your screenshot but you excluded the above two options from there.
    Since you have hidden the close button you will need to enable “Pop-up closed by clicking outisde of the pop-up” option as well.

    I inspected your page to show the close button and when I closed it that way the popup didn’t show again after refresh so that above-mentioned option should do the trick ??
