• I’m new to wordpress and so a lot to learn. I’m trying to add custom html to a specific webpage and am having trouble finding where to add the html. All I can find is the boxes for CSS.

Can someone help point me in the right direction. I’ve searched in Cornerstone (that’s where I’ve found the CSS) and also under the side bar of pages -> all pages -> specific page. Here I’ve clicked on code editor but not having any luck.

I’m not sure if I can just add the HTML code into the CSS custom box and it’ll work there.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

  • If this is content to be displayed in the page (and not some analytics tracker), then it should go inline… within the page itself.

If you’re using WordPress’ default editor, then simply open the page in the editor, and insert a CUSTOM HTML block and paste in your HTML code.

If you’re using some other page builder, then you’ll need to consult the documentation/support of that specific page builder.

By the way, WordPress does not come with any feature labelled “Cornerstone”. This seems to be a 3rd-party page builder plugin you’re using.

Thank you for your response! It is for analytics. I went into the page editor to add the html. I was searching for the “Text Editor” to add the html code, but it seems to be missing. Is this what you are referring to? I’m trying to figure out how to get the “text editor” back.
