Beginner help with Slider on center of home page

I’m not very good with WP and coding. I had someone create a basic template for me and I’ve been messing around making some changes. I have the elegant them Foxy, what I’m wanting to do is add a Revolution Slider to the center of the homepage showings sales/adds. I understand how to use the slider, what I can not figure out is how to get the slider on the home page in the center. I see Home left, Home Right, and Sidebar in my widgets area but noting for the center of the page. Currently there is a basic Welcome box, which I will remove and figured out how to remove it but stumped on getting the slider in. Any tips on how to accomplish this for a beginner? thanks
