“before_send_mail” not working after Update 5.4

    Hello,

    I have been using Contact Form 7 for many years.
    So far I have always used the function/action “wpcf7_before_send_mail” to transfer data from a form to an external database. This has also worked great so far. Since this year, unfortunately, no more. Has anything been changed in the plugin?

    Hi,
    I too use this hook for the same purpose but it still appears to be working. Does the external database not send a response back from the post request? There does appear to be some issue with v5.4 too so perhaps rollback the plugin to see if it fixes it.

    I get no response at all. have now also tried to write in the console whether error or not. But no reaction. It just seems all of a sudden this action hook does not work anymore. Emails are sent normally.

    I’ll try an older version of the plugin.
