Before installation – how to synchronise Hosting with WP?

Hi from Spain : )

Have new Hosting with HostGator and couple of new domains., Would like to build web pages with WordPress. So what is the procedure between WP and Hosting platform to make it work? There seem to be very little info on this subject, please help if you know or point me to right direction ; )
