  • my personal preference for easy reading is changing the default letter spacing, if i had my way the default layout would be my change, i find all the wp sites that havent changed this so hard to read.
    from this:
    p, li, .feedback {
    font: 90%/175% ‘Lucida Grande’, ‘Lucida Sans Unicode’, Verdana, sans-serif;
    letter-spacing: -1px;
    to this:
    p, li, .feedback {
    font: 90%/175% ‘Lucida Grande’, ‘Lucida Sans Unicode’, Verdana, sans-serif;
    letter-spacing:normal;

    Uhm… running @ 1280×1024 here (winxp firefox .9) and I have both vertical and horizontal scrollers… weird… >_<

    Hmmm…running 1024×768 on xp IE 6.0 I only see the vertical scroll. I’d have to bet it’s something in the css that causes the page to render differently, but I’ll have to leave the answer to those who are more knowledgeable about how css works in different browsers. The css I’m using can be found here. Thanks for taking a look, and if anyone has an answer or any suggestions, please send them along.
    Thanks again, Jim

    in IE it looks good (no extra scrollbar)… just checked

    I’m using Netscape 7+ and it all fits. I’ll third that on the text spacing. There is a typo to fix in the first section of text: “effectivly to maitain and grow your business.” The text spacing makes it hard to notice. It’s a workable layout.

    Is the pic of the generals supposed to extend down below the rest of the header?

    No, it’s not. That should all be inclosed inside the bordered navy block. I’m not seeing that in ie6 on xp. What are you using?
