    Hello,
I did smush for the whole website:
Before website size 1,5GB. Now it is 4,3GB !!!

I saved 122.9 MB / 7.3% Total Savings (thats what this plugin claims)

Because it is new installed website I have no way of comparing CPU clock or RAM.

so… please point me. WAS IS WORTH DOING IT?

I am consumer not a programmer. Just asking . Did I save on speed or database requests?

    Thank You

    Hello there @lukeoko

Before website size 1,5GB. Now it is 4,3GB !!!

Are absolutely sure about these stats? Cause they seem rather impossible, Smush supposed to lower down the filesize of images…

I saved 122.9 MB / 7.3% Total Savings (thats what this plugin claims)

This seems more logical. You can’t actually measure the gain of speed with that though, mainly because performance is more complicated and compressing images is just one part of this. You can use our HummingBird plugin for that, as it provides a Performance Report module, which can help you further improve the page load of your website.
