Becoming more and more bloated

  • Now they’ve added the action scheduler – that no one asked for. More and more and more bloated with every damn update. Looking for an alternate because enterprise level sites can’t have this kind of bloat. Used to be good, now just c**p.

    Thanks for taking the time to leave a review here.

    The Action Scheduler is maintained by WooCommerce/Automattic and many plugins are making use of it.

    As for The Events Calendar the Action Scheduler is only used when migrating events to the new data structure that was introduced in version 6.0. It is not currently used for any other tasks.

    I would be happy to hear more about what you find bloating in The Events Calendar and what functionality you are looking for in your use case.
