Because of date display (is not resolved)

Sorry for opening a new thread about an old question discussed here, but I see that has been marked as resolved, but for me it’s not at all.
Date shows up in google snippet and my meta description is cut, and in any case I don’t want date visible, cut description or not.
I’ve been waiting the fix for this for a very long time.
I haven’t checked the option for date display.
I had add_filter( ‘wpseo_show_date_in_snippet_preview’, ‘__return_false’ ); in my functions.php for months, but nothing to do.
I removed the filter, in case of some strange conflict with the option.
I checked the option, in case of some strange something, or a bad translation.
Nothing to do, date is always there.
Am I the one?
