    Hello,

Been looking for any documentation on if this will work with Beaver Themer. I have this installed on a test account and I’m not seeing any way to use a short code, connection string, or module in a themer layout. Any help or guidance would be appreciated!

    Hello @lhowick

I don’t have access to “Beaver Themer” but it seems to be a page builder. Normally this plugin works with any theme or page builder because its output is just regular post content.

If you need to use a shortcode you could use [rpr_recipe id=6538] where id is the recipe’s post ID

Thank you for the quick reply Kemory!

Beaver Themer is a plugin designed to create templated layouts for post types, so you can style a post using Beaver Builder and have that styling apply to every post type specified. It makes creating custom layouts for posts a breeze.

I did try to use the standard post content module in the themer layout, but that seems to only pull the post description text, not the entire post content (i.e. the recipe).

I also tried to use the short code [rpr_recipe] and [rpr_recipe id=] leaving the id field blank to see if it would pull the recipe info from the associated post type and it does not.

This wouldn’t work. The shortcode is defined by Recipepress so it would dictate its usage, and it needs a valid recipe post ID.

As for “Beaver Themer”, it is a paid plugin so I do not have access to it.

Ok thank you for clarifying. I will try to find an alternative. I do love your plugin though very easy to use otherwise.
