• I’ve been using Beaver Builder since May 2015 and have always been frustrated by having to use CSS for the most basic things. For example, BB Pro has no options for image borders, rounded corners, or custom headers and footers. Most of the BB built-in widgets are useless: I have had to purchase WP plugins for menu, gallery, contact forms, and sliders. There have been many times when I wonder why I’m even using WordPress when I could do things much easier by simply writing the html and css from scratch.

Then, just last week I found Elementor. I have found it to be superior to BB in many ways. It has everything that BB should have had including tons of widgets, many built-in ‘duh’ features (such as borders and rounded corners), and support for other widgets (Elementor Powerpack).

I’ve just been working on a website and have gotten great results with no CSS. With BB I would have had to write an entire page of styling.

By the way, I’m using a pre-configured VMWare WordPress appliance server (techandme.se) which is really fast.
