Beaver Builder Javascript

I have create a javascript function for my site however it doesn’t work on my site. I can get it to work on pen. [link] (https://codepen.io/ericshio/pen/zBRbAY). I am using the same js on my site under the beaver builder layout css/ javascript window. Why won’t it work on my site but it will on codepen? So frustrating. ?? I have tried wrapping the function, and I have also tried using wp_enqueue_script in my themes functions.php but failed (likely user error). Is this a beaver builder issue where their javascript window is faulty?
