Beats WordFence, especially on price

I run a number of private or not for profit sites where security is needed but budgets are tight, so Shield is the perfect antidote to WordFence. Easy to configure and the pro version is not a rip off.

I had it installed on 4 sites. Unfortunately I had to abandon it on 2 sites, through no fault of the vendor. Those two sites are hosted on my Synology NAS and, for some reason, they kept throwing 500 errors, preventing the GUI from loading. Shield support were fantastic jumping on the cases quickly and guiding me through some changes. And, when it became clear that the issue was outside their control and beyond my competence to fix, they immediately agreed to refund the 2 licences I had bought the previous day. You simply cannot ask for more from a vendor.

If I ever get to the bottom of the issue on the Synology NAS I will happily install Shield again
