Be very cautious if you don’t code

Be very cautious when installing this plugin if you don’t code or use a custom theme. I had the unfortunate experience of it wrecking my site causing a critical error upon pressing “update”, as Wordfence is giving it a 8.8/10 security warning.
You won’t get access to your dashboard or the site when you get a critical error, so unless you have a good hosting provider to help you restore your site (thankfully I do) or you know your way around cPanel you might want to give it a miss.
I do have a lightweight custom theme but even so, to cause a critical error is something no one wants to see. I have to find a developer to now remove the plugin because even when deactivating it will cause a critical error. So I am left with Wordfence notifying me daily I have a security issue on it’s current version.
We aren’t using any of the functionality on the live site, it was added as an idea at the time – so I cannot comment on it’s functionality.
This isn’t to say it doesn’t work as intended, but like someone wrote on a previous thread about needing to be a coder to work with it. I 100% agree.
And if you use it, make sure you have a staging site to run everything through first.
