  • Who at wordpress has Squarespace envy. WP is the number one platform because developers like it. Gutenberg is terrible. Leave the bells and whistles to the plugin folks and let the users choose their interface. My clients are freaking out, I use DIVI, it was near perfect and now its covered up with this mess….mess.

    If you and your clients still prefer the classic editor, you can always opt to use the Classic Editor Plugin.

    If you decide to give the block editor another try, it would be great if you could share specific details about the complications you have run into so that it can be improved upon. You can share that here so we can pass feedback on to the Gutenberg team. Or, if you use GitHub, you can log an issue at the GitHub repo.
