Be sure you can FTP to your web site

  • I installed this and thought it might be handy.

    Users should be cautioned that you might need to FTP to your server/site folder.

    The first time I used this on my iPad I was instructed to take a picture of a CR code on my Mac’s screen. That returned an error saying it was not configured, even tho’ I had followed configuration instructions. Repeated tries were useless. I couldn’t log in on either device because Magic kept intercepting the login process,

    I had to FTP in and brute force delete Magic to even get back in.

    Beware of this software!

    The first time you were to scan the code should be in a Magic Password dashboard and over there device pairs with your WordPress account. When you only install the plugin and try log in by scan QR code it is obvious that the device is not configured. The second thing is that the user has the option of logging in with a login and password unless he disables this feature.
