• The plugin is great but I installed for test with “Falang for Elementor Lite” couse my site uses elementor and I wanted to test Polylang too.
When I uninstalled the plugin with their data, all the elementor part of the site has gone from all pages, even the models, I tryed to restore previous versions or activate elementor on the pages again but nothing works.
I have luck to made a backup before.

The plugin is good constructed and i think that could be one of the bests, the free elementor plugin not covers all but could be use and my case is not the most common, but be aware of it.

    Hi,

Falang for Elementor Lite need to be used with Falang , it’s write in the description. You can’t use it with Polylang.

The problem you get is with Falang or Falang for Elementor ?
You’re problem is strange because when Polylang is installed you can’t install Falang.

Can you write me to understand what’s wrong and try to solve this. use faboba.com contact form.

Polylang and Falang use taxonomy to store the language it’s why you can’t install both on same site. You are right always make backup before installing a multilanguage site.

Falang don’t change anything in the original data , it’s why you can install it and remove it , your site will work in the same way.

I’m sorry @sbouey, perhaps I expressed myself wrong.

I installed Falang for Elementor Lite with Falang, not Polylang. What happened is that I uninstalled Falang to test Polylang later, so I selected to remove Falang data at uninstall.

Right after remove Falang the problem appears, I’m sorry, but I needed to get the site back fast and couldn’t debug exactly what happened but all elementor data in posts have gone at that moment. The posts have not been deleted but the elementor data (widgets used, models types and so on)

Thanks for the info , you write me a mail too.

“normally” you can install falang and falang for elementor , when you desactivate or removeit all work for your default language like before.

i will try to find what’s wrong and solve this.

    Best regards,
    Stéphane
