bbPress not very good

  • I tried this plugin as an alternative to Mingle as Mingle doesn’t have any import tools for other forums whereas this one does.

    This plugin has them but it lacks functionality and leaves tables in the database when uninstalled. It adds several new user roles to WordPress that it also doesn’t remove on uninstall.

    The support forum doesn’t answer questions about removing these roles from WordPress.

    NOT RECOMMENDED look elsewhere.
