For some reason sitewide forums may not show up in the page, such as in my case, unless one adds the following shortcode [bbp-forum-index] on that page. I am not sure if that is a theme related problem or my fault. :/

Just take notice and if you can offer some support to resolve this issue in a different way, please do let me know…

I haven’t tested bbPress that much with the theme. But it should work just the same as with bp-default since Frisco doesn’t do too much differently.

Maybe someone else can help out?

Sounds like you haven’t mapped the forum pages correctly. If you have both group and sitewide forums activated then there is a bit of mucking around to get them working as they want to use the same /forums slugs.

It would be worth heading over to buddypress.org and re-reading the installation guide for forums. I got it working after the third go but that was in a test environment that I don’t have anymore so I can’t give you the specifics of what I did ??

Any news on Frisco working with bbpress site wide install and not just group forums? I mean it works but it takes on the default styling and not Frisco’s beautiful forum styling.

I’m running both bbPress and buddypress — using bbpress for the group forums.

Sounds like a config issue on your end. Follow this video for proper set up to have them play friendly together:
