Batch Upload files default ‘Post Status’ settings

    After uploading files using Batch Upload, the default ‘Post Status’ is set as Published. Is there a way to change the default setting? As most of my files are private, but currently I have to batch upload then individually tick change their settings as the ‘Batch Edit’ can’t group untick a feature against all files.

    there is currently no options when you use the batch upload. I will add it as a feature request. In the meantime the best I can offer is to use the batch edit menu. This will allow you to change the status of all the files in a current folder.

    Its not the best solution but it will be quicker that editing every file.

    Batch upload? I don’t have a batch upload feature… where is it hiding?

    its in the options menu. Dashboard > Options > Batch Upload

    In Batch Edit, is there a way to edit all files in one go? Currently I have to untick untick untick untick hundreds times on all files to change one setting!

    If not, can you please add this as a feature request too as this seems important.
