basic visual editor acting funny

  • I pasted a article in the edit window.

    WordPress reformated the page in HTML. So I selected the visual tab and all that could be seen is random red lines.

    How do I fix this.

    I am using WordPress 2.7.1. with Bluespot 1.0.1

  • Where did you paste the article content from? Have you tried deactivating all plugins?

    It is ridiculous that this problem exists in wordpress for so many people. I was having the same problem.. and will probably continue to have this problem.. Every time i add multiple photos or the number of my characters is too big I get the red lines in my visual editor just like you. The only solution that i have found is recreating that page and using less words or photos or smaller sizes of photos. It is extremely frustrating and shouldnt even be a problem let me know if there is a solution to all of this..

    I have had all sorts of problems with the TinyMCE editor too. I finally gave up and turned it off and just hand type everything in HTML.
