basic use help

    Hey! I’ve seen the plugin in use and its awesome!

    I need some help figuring some things out. According to the FAQ you create slides, add to a channel, and then subscribe to that channel in display.

    I’m not seeing where to add the slides to the channel, or where to subscribe in the display. Can you help me out?

    I’m sure I’ll have other follow up questions.

    So when you log into your wordpress control panel, you should see Foyer as a menu option, clicking it breaks out the DISPLAYS, CHANNELS, SLIDES options, as you see below. From there you click ADD NEW button on any of those menus.

    AHHHH!! I wasn’t going to the admin thing at the bottom first. Thought it was all in the baby blue screen. Makes sense now.

    Another question: is there a way to get a theme to apply to a slide?

    Hi!

    About your theme question: If you install and activate a WordPress theme for your website, the slides will use the fonts from that theme.

    If you need more styling for your slides, at the moment the only way to achieve this is to add some CSS (see Foyer plugin FAQ). Of course you need some CSS knowledge.
