    Greetings,

I’m looking for some very specific functionality from a shipping plugin and I’m curious to know if any of your plugins can help. I have one shipping class of items in my store that need a flat shipping fee charged per item. I have a second shipping class of items that would need to go through a standard USPS calculator for zip code, weight, etc because the items in this class can be packaged together.

I can get both scenarios to work fine except if I put an item of each class into the shopping cart at the same time. When I do that I either end up with the shipping plugin doing a flat rate per every item in the cart with no USPS options (first class, priority, express) or if I make some changes, I only end up with USPS options and no flat rate per item charges for the relative shipping class items.

Is it possible, if a customer tries to purchase 1 or more items of each class, they would see in their cart:

Flat Rate Class Item: $8.00 * [qty]

    Other Items (customer selection):
    First Class Mail: <amount>
    Priority Mail: <amount>
    Express: <amount>

Does all that make sense? Thank you in advance for any insight

    Louis

  • Hello @slaysomething,

What solution are using for USPS calculation? Is it a plugin, or just table rate shipping?

I assume that you would like to present your customers different shipping methods in the cart. Unfortunately, Flexible Shipping does not allow it. There can be only one shipping method, but it can be calculated correctly using your shipping scenario.

Free version does not support shipping classes, and we can;t discuss PRO features in this forum, so please contact us here for more details on this shipping scenario: https://www.wpdesk.net/contact/
