Thanks for your interest in the plugin and for your question. I regret any frustration you’re experiencing in finding your way around.
MLA actually has just three shortcodes, [mla_gallery]
, [mla_tag_could]
and [mla_term_list]
, but they do have quite a number of parameters to go through. The best place to start is in the Settings/Media Library Assistant Documentation tab; have a look at the “MLA Gallery Examples” section to see a few basic examples of the shortcodes that came up in earlier support topics. The “Simple Examples” part of that section contains a few “hello world” shortcode illustrations.
The Example Plugins have mostly been developed in response to support topics of one sort or another. They may or may not be helpful for your specific needs.
I regret that I do not have the time and talent required to develop more tutorial material. I know the Documentation is more of a reference. I do try to answer questions in the support forum and give what help I can for application questions. Here are links to two earlier topics along lines similar to yours that contain links to many more specific topics:
Examples for the MLA Gallery
Is there doc that shows how to use this plugin?
I am marking this topic resolved because your immediate question has been answered, but please update it or start a new topic if you have problems or further questions regarding the material in the Documentation tab or the earlier topics. Thanks again for your understanding and your interest.
