Basic intro splash screen option?

I’ve just installed your plugin and what I’m wanting to create is a simple splash screen that has a brief intro animation that runs than automatically takes you into the website itself. So far I’ve created a new landing page using my current theme template, added the slideshow animation I created to the body copy and published it. However, when I view the landing page, it does play the animation in the body copy, but also shows all of the other website content such as the menu and logo and such. I’m wanting a simple page with nothing but the brief animation on it that plays and then goes into the website itself’s home page where the logo and menu for the site is visible.
Can this be done using a different template rather than the with my current themes template?
