Basic functionality no longer works

In the latest version on my site and theirs, subscription notifications do not work. Additionally, newline characters cannot be used when creating a topic or reply, which means everything appears on a single line. I reported these things weeks ago on their support forum and got no response. These are essential features. I purchased the pro version and will have to move over to another plugin, as my client is very upset.
