I have an odd problem on https://kentuckybbqfestival.com.

It seems that when bold or color inline tags (or tags) are applied to text, it shifts their baseline down and misaligns the text. I thought it was the inline styles, but it happens when the text is linked as well.

I can’t seem to find a cause for this in the stylesheet and was wondering if anyone knew how to correct this.

    Thanks for any help,
    Bob

  • you possibly have caused this by changing the last line in the reset style from:

    vertical-align: baseline; (original Twenty Eleven)

    to:

    vertical-align: middle; (your theme)

Thank you, Sweeper. That did the trick.

I made two items in the reset style, on for the table elements I wanted aligned middle and one for the rest. It’s perfect now.
