After update to 5.1.8 the following message appears in wp dashboard:

basedir restriction in effect. File(/wp-config.php) is not within the allowed path(s): … wp-security-firewall-utility.php on line 82

It doesn’t seem to appear afterwards. Is this something to be worried about?

    Hi @anchises

In AIOS 5.1.8 we try fix the correct wp config.php

FIX: Get correct wp-config path when installed in a subdirectory

It seems still have the issue. right now it tries access in the /wp-config.php means the root of all folder not /redacted/path/wp-config.php ( last time issue actual it should bee /redacted/path/web/wp-home/wp-config.php

As quick fix you may create the wp-config.php file there also.

Let me try internal ticket for this

    Regards.

The firewall runs before any WordPress code so the old firewall code would run at least once before the update happened.

If it only happened once and the bootstrap file version says?1.0.2, then it’s fine nothing to worry about.
