• Hi .

Will it send email to specific user roles based on order status ? Or does it have a function to change order status based on who order ( i.e. Admin order will have the order to be processing immediately and if the shop manager will put the order on-hold status ).

  • Hi @coatedpil,

    Thanks for reaching out.

We are sorry to let you know that at this moment it is not possible with our Custom Emails for WooCommerce to send custom emails based on user roles. However, I have passed your request on to our development team. They will check the viability of this and get back to you as soon as they can.

Regarding the second question, you can change the order status based on user rules with our other plugin, Order Status Rules for WooCommerce. With this plugin, you can schedule automatic WooCommerce order status updates. However, you have to choose which order status to change for a particular user role. For example, if you want to update all orders with an on-hold status from admin to processing immediately, then you would need to follow the general steps below:

    1. At first, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Order Status Rules > Rule #1 and Enable rule #1 option,
    2. Then set the Status from option to On hold and Status to option to Processing then set the Time trigger to 0, which will update the order status immediately.
    3. Next select Orders users > user roles to Administrator.

But if you want to create more than one rules, you’ll need to use the plugin’s Pro version, which you can find here.

I hope it helps. If you have any questions , then please let us know.

    Kind regards,
    Moshtafizur
