• Hi all,

Is there is a way to have links inside pages use the base URL (in the Settings > General), or a base URL I specify?

I migrated a site from one domain to another and all the links are pointing to the old domain even though I used the WP WYSIWYG interface to create the links. I suppose in the meantime I’m going to change them all manually but if there is a more automatic way in the future that would be great to know about.

Maybe I haven’t looked hard enough but I couldn’t find an answer to this problem… If somebody knows the answer or can point me to the right answer I would be very greatful!

I found a decent solution to the base URL issue by using the “Find Replace” plugin – did exactly what I wanted. However I’m still curious if it’s possible to have WP specify the root as the base URL in the General Settings page so that it will change when the domain name changes the content will automatically be updated.
