    Hello!

    I am using a slider on the homepage. However for some reason it doesn’t load. When I insert an image it does work. Do you recommend a specific slider widget? I am currently using the plugin: Slideshow.
    Or is it only possible to use images in the banner?

    You may want to contact the support for that plugin if it’s not loading, but if you want a suggestion as to an optional slider to consider, check out the Smart Slider 3 plugin

    You can definitely use static image banners as well. You can use basic img src HTML in a text widget or use a plugin called Image Widget to use specifically for inserting images into sidebars as a widget.
