I deactivated and removed the plugin completely and enabled clear all data upon deletion but the banner still pops up. I also cleared the server and page cache multiple times. Am I missing something? I didn’t find any solution online

    Hi @alexgraphicd,

There might still be some (browser) caching affecting these results, as the plugin won’t be able to affect your site any longer when it has been deleted.

    Kind regards, Jarno

this is insane. how can browser caching affect when I have cleared multiple times? It has been 3 days now and I can’t have a functional website because of your plugin. This hasn’t happened with the other plugins, only yours.

    Hi @alexgraphicd,

If you provide us with an URL to the website in question, that would allow us to check if the banner still appears when visiting it from our end.

But when a WordPress plugin such as Complianz has been fully deleted from a website, it doesn’t affect the site anymore; unless you’re viewing a cached version of the site, of course.

    Kind regards, Jarno

Do you have an email I can send you the url? I can’t share it here.

Update: I found the error was caused by accelerator plugin ‘Fastpixel.io’. Even though I cleared the cache it keeps showing the old version with the Complianz plugin installed. I contacted their support and I am waiting to see if they can solve this issue.
