    The banner only displays when I’m logged on to the site. Regular visitors will not be able to see it. I tried logging off and going incognito but the banner doesn’t appear at all. not even in the background.

    Hi @jpwelch,

    Can you provide your URL so I can take a closer look. Often this type of behavior happens if you have a website cache that hasn’t been cleared yet. I would try clearing your cache and seeing if you can then see the banner when not logged in.

    @rpetersen,

    Thanks for the feedback. I thought it was a cache issue as well but I’m not running any cache plugin, I had tried it in incognito mode previously and cleared the sites cache within Chrome’s developer’s tool and none of that worked yesterday. However, today it’s working. So I guess you are right and I just haven’t discovered what is causing the caching. I thought afterwards that it was a CSS or javascript issue because it only worked when I was logged in. I guess I’ll dig deeper on the caching issue side. Again, thanks for the response/feedback.

    Yeah i would look through your plugins and see if any of them do any caching in the effort of “optimization”. A lot of this speed optimization plugins implement a cache to speed up loading of assets on your site.
