Cookie banner does no longer close when clicking on “Accept all”, while it does close correctly when clicking on “Functionality only”. Also, if you click on “Accept all”, the banner does disapper if you move to another page on the same site. I tried to enable Complianz safe mode but nothing changes. The issue exist (at least) on versions 4.7.0 and 4.6.10. I manage 4 WordPress sites and they all have this same issue.

    hi @cicopitalia,

I see a problem with reCaptcha. Enabling safe mode must fix this issue. Could you try disabling the reCaptcha integration under Complianz – Integrations, and try again?

    regards Aert

Now the site has the reCaptcha integration disabled and safe mode enabled, but the issue is still there.

    Hi, same problem here.
If marketing is checked the console shows
    wpcf7_recaptcha is not defined

Could be it has also to do with autoptimize.

@cicopitalia Could you try clearing the site cache? If you have enabled safe mode, Complianz will stop blocking these scripts, so the error should disappear.

@shoppa Did you confirm that the issue is linked to autoptimize? Did you temporarily disable Autoptimize and the issue was solved?

    Kind regards,
    Leon

Hi Leon, seems not to be a problem with autoptimize. Problem stays with disabled plugin autoptimize.

To make it more confuse: if marketing is checked and i do a page reload, the banner is away.

A click on the left bottom button shows the banner (with marketing checked). A click on “save settings” makes the banner disappear. The expected behavior. Also uncheck and save is working.

New check and save shows the problem again.

    Hi @shoppa,

And you did enable Safe mode + disabled all integrations under Complianz -> Integrations (Services + Plugins)? This must be a conflict with the Contact Form 7 integration, which means that it should disappear if this integration is disabled (or safe mode enabled).

    Regards,
    Leon

I don’t have any caching plugin (it’s a very small and simple site) and I don’t think my hosting provider is caching anything, because it is a general purpose hosting, not dedicated to WordPress.

I confirm that, having pressed “Accept all”, on page reloading (or page change, as I already reported) the banner goes away.

Problem only occours if recaptcha 2 of contact form 7 is choosed. With the default recaptcha no problem.

If integration of recaptcha is disabled in compliance:
compliance do not work, no popup, no button bottom left, JS error in console (Uncaught ReferenceError: wpcf7_recaptcha is not defined), contact page is empty (blank part of page)

If safe mode is enabled: same behavior like disabled integration.

I hope you can verify the problem with contact form 7 with recaptcha 2.

@cicopitalia I just checked your site, it looks like the Complianz – Contact Form 7 integration is still active, because I still see this in your source:

    $(document).on("cmplzRunAfterAllScripts", cmplz_cf7_fire_domContentLoadedEvent);

If this shows up in your code, either something is caching it, or the integration is still active. Can you double check this?

@shoppa, We will look into this integration. In the meantime, can you start a separate thread for this issue? This is not the same issue as @cicopitalia has reported, which will make it very confusing for everybody if we continue responding on both issues in one thread. Thanks in advance ??

    Hi,

Same problem. The accept all button is not working.

    – I have disabled the recaptcha at integrations and enabled Safe mode. Not solved.
    – I have disabled all integrations and enabled Safe mode. “Error establishing a database connection” for new visitors. I have enabled the integrations and disabled the Safe mode again but the error remained, so I have disabled the PLUGIN.

It has been working fine for weeks, we are using another cookies pluging meanwhile.

    Thank you.

    Best regards,

    Daniel G.

After I disabled also Contact Form 7 integration, the banner closes correctly when clicking on “Accept all”.

As the issue of the ticket opener has been resolved, I’m closing this one.

@dgata, @shoppa Please open a new ticket for separate issues, as we can’t distinguish the different issues otherwise.

Hi, we will try the honeypot plugin for cf7.
Recaptcha2 plugin for cf7 is currently not used. If we want use it again i will open a new ticket.

    Thanks for ypur help.

    Cheers
    shoppa
