Banner is hiding page titles

  • Hi. I’m pleased with the Sydney theme, except for one thing that I would like to resolve: The black banner at the top of my site (alinereynolds.com) is hiding part of the Page Titles (Home, About Me, etc.). Is there a way to change the formatting so that this doesn’t happen? Thanks, Aline

    Please try to do the following.

    Go to your Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → General → enter 130 in top padding field → click Save & Publish button.

    I had a similar problem. It seems over night my page titles moved up under my menu. The homepage didn’t seem to be effected, just all the others. I changed the padding to 170 on the row and that changed it, but not sure why it happened arbitrarily. What do you advise. https://www.get3home.com

    I have been having this issue too since the update. It appears that on, on my mac, using Chrome the header is hiding the page titles. In Firefox and Safari howerver this doesn’t seem to be an issue.

    There was no question! – Just letting you guys know it’s a real thing. – Doesn’t happen in Firefox. – ?? Don’t really know whats up. I’m on a macbook, – maybe that’s the reason? – Haven’t had a chance to fix it but figured I would just add some padding in when I get a chance. – No worries. – Take care.
