I am looking for the size requirements for images to display as a banner, and also images used in slideshow banners (not in the “banner” page template).

    Thanks!

    Hello!

There are no specific size requirements for these images. I do suggest that you use images with a width greater than 1000px.

Ok, thanks. When I created a banner slideshow all my images were centered towards the bottom of the page and were cut off. I wondered how I might avoid that.

I’ve got them higher up on the page now, but is there no way to center them? Under the banner template I see options to left and right align the image, or no alignment, but no center alignment setting?

    Thanks for any help!

    Hi there!

Unfortunately, there currently aren’t any settings for changing the alignment of the Banner slides’ background images (the “Content Position” setting is actually for the text that can overlay the slide image). Sorry ??

For now you can either add a custom CSS rule to change the alignment or crop the image prior to uploading it.

Thanks – I’m talking about the banner slides themselves, not the background images. There must be a way to center the banner images if they do not span the whole width of the screen?

Oh! So to clarify, you’re talking about images that you insert into the Banner slide content editor, right?

Could you share a link to a page on your site where the images are getting cut off vertically? I’m not sure I completely understand what’s happening.

Those images can be horizontally centered by choosing “Center” under the Attachment Display Settings when inserting the image. But vertical centering depends on what other content you have added to the slide besides the image, as well as the size of the image compared to the height you have set for the Banner section (click the Configure section gear icon to set the height). You may need to scale the image down if it’s running off the bottom of the slide.
